How to use Silent Edge alerts.
Set the right futures market, choose the right view, and let Silent Edge deliver a clean alert message.
Before you create the alert
Be on the correct timeframe first.
Use the dedicated Gold futures system.
Match the system to your active futures chart.
Setup flow
Create the alert inside TradingView.
Open the correct futures chart
Open the chart that matches your selected futures system.
Set the timeframe before the alert
Choose the timeframe you want to run before creating the alert.
Add the Silent Edge script
Add the matching Silent Edge system and confirm it is visible on the chart.
Create the alert
Open the alert window from TradingView or use the keyboard shortcut.
Select the script alert
Choose the Silent Edge condition and select Any alert() function call.
Choose notifications
Enable the notifications you want, such as app, email, popup or sound.
The important part
Use the script alert. Not a custom condition.
Silent Edge builds the alert message for you. In the Condition field, select the Silent Edge script, then choose Any alert() function call.
No separate manual condition is needed. The signal text comes directly from the system.
When a signal triggers
The alert is readable in TradingView and email.
Each alert includes direction, symbol, entry, stop loss, take profit and risk-reward in a clear format.
Chart levels
Follow the lines on the chart.
After a signal appears, use the Long Position or Short Position tool from the white entry line to the green take profit and red stop loss.
Quick checks

- The chart is on the correct futures contract and timeframe.
